CCF has a team of four elders led by Allan Johnston. Here’s some biographical stuff, most of which you can rely on.
Allan Johnson.... Allan is our lead elder having led the church from it’s foundation in 1991. He has lived within the parish of Cowfold all his life. In 1997 we were thrilled to be able to release Allan to work full-time for CCF – we can’t remember how we managed without him. He is married to Annie and they have two grown up daughters, Rachel and Hannah.
David Coleman.... David, the brains of the outfit, has also served as an elder at Cowfold since we started. Living in Southwater, just north of Cowfold, he makes the mammoth daily trip to Basingstoke where he works as a compliance officer in the financial services industry. David and his wife Ruth have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
Kit White.... Gorgeous, pouting Kit is one of the new boys, being appointed as an elder in 1998. Living in Bolney, he runs his own business killing weeds with highly toxic chemicals – a bit like being an elder. Kit is married to Hazel and they have two grown up sons, Stuart and Michael.
Ed Francis.... Ed became an elder at the same time as Kit. Nobody is quite sure what he does for a living but it involves putting on a suit and driving to Reigate. He lives in Cowfold with his wife Becky and their two small children, Hope and Daniel. Ed has a remarkable physical resemblance to Brad Pitt! |
